Black Belt Poker Live Backing
When you attain a Belt level high enough to use Spending Points for live tournament entries,
the Live Tournament Backing Request form will become usable,
where both the buy-in, and the Spending Points cost for the selected tournament will be displayed.

You can select any event(s) appropriate to your Belt from a menu of the month’s available live tournaments at the appropriate level.
Individual buy-in up to $550
(optional – Tournament $ purchased with Spending Points – see below).
$1,500 per month, individual buy-in up to $1,000.
$4,000 per month, individual buy-in up to $2,000.
Individual requests will be handled on a monthly basis by

until the full Backing Request Form becomes available.
Green Belts are eligible to use monthly Spending Points for buy-ins to live events.
There is the option at Green Belt level only to buy in to a tournament with or without make-up*,
and with or without a 50/50 split with Black Belt Poker.
The cost in Spending Points is higher, depending on which option is chosen.
50/50, with make-up: 17 Spending Points per Live Tournament $
50/50, without make-up: 28 Spending Points per Live Tournament $
100% your winnings, no make-up: 40 Spending Points per Live Tournament $
*
Tournament buy-ins put forward by Black Belt Poker are added together over time, repaid at the point of cashing in a live tournament, before the remainder of the prize monies are split 50/50.
Blue and Brown Belts receive live buy-ins automatically every month, when their Belt Maintenance cost in Belt Points is transferred to Spending Points. Blue Belts receive $1,500, and Brown Belts $4,000. They may also manually transfer extra Belt Points to Spending points to use as further tournament dollars throughout the month.
This refers to the split of returns from any tournament between the player and Black Belt Poker. This is 50% after make-up (the restitution of previous buy-ins to Black Belt Poker, calculated before splitting the remainder of the prize money).

When the amount due to Black Belt Poker has been confirmed, payment must be made in the form of cash (the currency of the prize won, or GBP), transfer via the Black Belt Poker cardroom, or bank transfer/cheque (GBP only).
When calculating make-up, GBP will be used, converting any foreign currency winning amount at the daily spot rate plus 2%.
Belt Points in the form of Prize Points will be awarded to Blue Belts and higher
for every live tournament cash as soon as payment to Black Belt Poker is credited.
When calculating Prize Points, the dollar equivalent of the gross amount of
prize money will be used.
