I'm off to play my Poker Million heat today.

 The format has totally changed.

The buy-in is $30k and the winner of the 8-handed heat gets $90k and a place in the final. The runner-up gets a place in the 2nd chance heat which takes place in October. That will be a normal structure heat and the winner of that will go to the final.

There will be six heat winners, the runner-up heat winner and a late "parachute" online qualifier in the final, which will be WINNER TAKES ALL.

 First prize is $1m.

Today's heat is Myself, Ram Vaswani, Barny Boatman, Gavin Smith, Eric Cajelais, Andrew Feldman, Nick Schulman and Darren Elias (who I played in the Poker Lounge).

It might take eight hours and it starts at 10.30ish this morning. Wish me luck:

Greetings everyone! This is just a quick update on the recent problem with iPoker when the system froze and crashed last week. As you may know, this meant people who were playing at the time didn't receive their winnings. However, you'll be happy to know that the problem has now been fixed and iPoker has paid out the people that won something before the system went down. Sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. If you need help or would like some more information on this please email the guys at support@blackbeltpoker.com

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd post you a quick Vegas update. Maybe we could make this an official Vegas thread and everyone could post their week's schedules.

Arrived on Thursday and I've been running around doing shopping, getting a US cellphone and trying to catch up with all emails and messages before I clear my mind for the week ahead.

Here's my WSOP schedule for this week:

Sunday: $1,000 NLH Pavillion Yellow 156 Seat 9 (in case anybody fancies stopping by to say hi or abuse me).

Sunday 5pm $1500 PLO8 if busted from the NLH.

 Monday $1500 NLH

Tuesday $5000 NLH Shootout (one of my favourites of the whole year)

 Wednesday $1500 NLH

 Thursday $1500 PLH

 Friday $1500 NLH

 Sunday $1000 NLH

Obviously if I fluke it into the odd day two I'll have to amend my plans. I may go all "high roller" and play two at once sometimes.

Lazy Phil Laak will not be playing too many events this week. He's sitting in the $10/$20 at Bellagio on Wednesday at noon and attempting to stay there for eighty hours.

I'll be waiting until he's really tired and popping down to give him a spin from time to time.

 Next week is slightly quieter.

Hello all,

This week didn't entirely go to plan. I went back with lots of chips on day two of last weekend's $1000 and failed to get a really deep run despite having triple avg with 200 left. Lost a race to have a good shot in the $1500 shootout, made an error in the $1500 PLO8, played bad in Wednesday's and Friday's $1500s and ran terribly in this weekend's $1000.

Next week is when it will all happen. Here's my plans:

Sunday 27th Going to play the $1570 Super Sat for the $25k 6-max.

Monday 28th $1500 NLH at noon. Lots of good players will be in the $5000 PLO at 5pm. They're welcome to it. One of the worst value events of the series.

Tuesday 29th $3000 Triple Chance Hold-'em at noon. 9000 starting chips. Annoying that they put this one among some other good tournies. I would have liked a days gap before the $25k 6-max, would hate to miss either event.

Wednesday 30th $25k 6-max. definitely playing, unless I'm still in the $3k with chips. These big buy-in NLH events are always value and the 6-max makes people go mental. You'd think it was 3-max.

Thursday 1st July Hopefully I'll be still in the 6-max but if not I'll be straight into the $1000 NLH at noon. That'll be a culture shock.

(actually - I may well miss this one and focus on the $10k PLO at 5pm. It kind of depends on the $25k 6-max and how I'm feeling after that).

Friday 2nd July $2500 NLH. The last event for me before the main event. I haven't chosen my day 1 yet but I plan a couple of days off.

Hopefully all my plans will change because of lots of deep runs and final tables.

Just to keep everyone informed.

It seems they'll be eleven people wearing the Black Belt colours in the main event. I'd like to wish all of them the best of luck.

Owen Robinson is playing today. He's on White 28 in the Pavilion if you're out here. That table may break though.

Warren Wooldridge, our CEO, and Tristan McDonald, one of the shareholders, are playing tomorrow as am I. I'm on table 280 in Amazon Blue.

Brown Belts Adam Latimer and Jerome Bradpiece are playing tomorrow also, as is Blue Belt Chaz Chattha.

Our two Black Belt qualifiers Mandy Card and Alan Vinson will be playing on Thursday as will our two Blue Belts who are rushimng here today Jamie Burland and Kevin Williams.

I'd like to wish all of them the best of luck. Poor old Snoops is busy working for us and PokerNews so he'll be keeping us updated, but he won't be able to play.

Hopefully they'll Tweet a bit too.

Just to keep you updated:

After four hours our CEO Warren Wooldridge is going strong. Warren started the day with a below average stack, but last I heard has 88k. He tells me the guy on his left is 70 years ols and has played four pots AA,AA,KK,AA. Otherwise the table is crazy-aggro.

Tristan McDonald is a Black Belt shareholder and a good friend. He came back with 20kish after bluffing off a lot on the last hand of day one. Tristan is on the main TV table and turned down Full Tilt's $12k to wear his BBP badge with pride. He's been rewarded with a double up to 40kish.

Jerome Bradpiece started on 23k and last I heard he has 15k. Doesn't sound like he's having a great time, but I'd rather be in with his stack than sitting here.

Yesterday Chaz Chattha got through with 64k, Jamie Burland has 42k, and our two BBP qualifiers Mandy Card and Alan Vinson both got through. Mandy has about 35k I seem to remember (can't find it now) and Alan has some work to do with around 5500.

They'll all be joining Owen Robinson and his 14k in tomorrow's day two.

Fingers crossed some of them will be in on Monday for Day Three.
