Hi, guys. A simple thread, but I thought it might be interesting. Please could you post your most interesting hand from the London Live and your thoughts.
Mine was actually my exit. Blinds 200/400, 16,000 stack. I made a speculative raise to 1,050 from mid-position with K-To. BB, unknown player, called. Flop = Q-x-J rainbow. Villain (comfortable chips) checked, I bet 1.8k, he raised to something like 4.3k. I thought my stack was too small to flat, and I didn't think I had enough to get him off the turn if he led, so I decided to push. I thought I had decent fold equity, and that if he called I would have outs, including the king if he had something like A-Q. I was only really worried about A-Q and Q-J as I though J-J to A-A would raise preflop. I was wrong though - he had A-A and I bricked.
ps. I guess this is technically 'hands', but thought I'd make a Poutashi-esque ;-) exception.
