 Hello everyone,

Boyles have just let me know that they've put the odds up on Black Belt London Live.

If anyone fancies a bet just click on the link below.

James Akenhead is the favourite at 33/1 with Praz Bansi and Julian Thew at 40/1. There are a bunch of people at 50/1 including me. I notice that Nik Persaud is on 66/1.

Boyles received the list from me yesterday and obviously there might be the odd drop out and the odd person who comes in through the last satellites.

If somebody has been missed off then post here and I'll email and get the price added.

Boyles tell me that as this is a novelty market where the prize money is low compared with golf tournaments, snooker and other poker tournaments they cover, they will be keeping the stakes fairly small. I think it'll be easy to get a tenner on, or maybe more on the favourites.

Yeah I guess offering 300-1 on anyone is pretty much suicide for a bookie, I'll bow to your superior judgement on these things. I'm not there because I wouldn't travel more than 5 miles from my house for a $200 donkament, too balla yo. Just doesn't make sense from a financial point of view, nothing personal. Will see you for the GUKPT in a couple of weeks. GL with the tourn.

anyone find that the minimum stack all in or fold strategy actually works in the long run. It goes against everything cash is about, but find it such a common practice these days...

thanks for comments, trouble is, i think we know their ranges mostly.... often AJ - AK, or just about any pair that i bloody witnessed!!! SO it's all about taking the gamble, which i am often loathed to do @ cash... god damn Short stack specials.. go play a tourney.

Yes it works! Yes they are scum of the earth. You need to be playing it properly though, most of the fish don't. Its also supposed to be a low variance way of making a bunch of money. Mark Vos is a short stacker I think

Hi there. iPoker are definitely listening to feedback, and I'll be looking to send more where possible. The most recent update saw the following changes:

· Pocket cards animation was changed in Texas Hold’em from 2 cards one on top of another to 2 cards one next to another. This improves the cards visibility when the table is resized to its smallest size.

· Player’s own turn time indicator size was increased significantly and is now more visible also when the table is resized to the smallest view.

· The size of the latest resized window is now automatically saved

· The player has now an option to auto-center his/her position on any table

· Player can now choose to disable the spotlight that appears in front of each player in the hand when it is time for the player to act.

Just a thought... I was reading Snoopy's blog there a minute ago and he referenced an article by Nik Persaud called 'Creative Thinking' and I went to look for it, and there seems to be no organisation of the articles on this site whatsoever. It strikes me as a slight hinderance for someone who wishes to read up on a certain aspect of the game and having to sift through all the recent trip reports and reviews and player profiles just to find the nugget of information they are looking for.

Would it not be more beneficial for the community as a whole, if the articles button did not lead to page 1 of 20+ of scattered articles about everything and anything, but instead linked to a clearly marked out contents page allowing users the opportunity to view select sections of the articles relevant to the wants and needs of each individual user~?

there are very rough sub-divisions in place but agree that a contents page would be the nuts

its not too bad atm as you can subselect whether its strategy or interviews etc that you are looking for, but certainly as site content grows then it will not be optimal.

Hi, definitely something that I've had in my mind from the start, just thought we need to build up the content before implementing some sort of structure. Ideally, I would like everything to be categorised and accessible from a drop-down menu or something so you can always find what you are looking for.

Hi all.

Is there any software that will allow you to play two (or more) ipoker skins at the same time?

Many thanks.

reason ebing you could enter a sng from bbp and say titan and play two people at the same table which is an unfair advantage to the rest
David Macleod posted on 10 Mar, 6:52pm
Oh I fully understand that, there could be major "underhandness" going on. My reason is that I qualified for two different tournies particular to an ipoker site.
David "Grafter" Eakin posted on 11 Mar, 2:10am
If you have two tourneys on different ipoker skins then Yes you can play on two different computers from the same connection at the same time. Just don't try two entries to the same game, obviously.
